A header for Mama-Mia

After making a header years ago for Mama-Mia I owed her a new one big time. And after meeting her adorable kids in person recently added with the fact that she graciously welcomed me in her house, I had promised her that a new header would be my way of saying "Thank you!". This is the first cut and we might do some changes to it once she has some time on her hands.

Housewarming invitation

Designed a housewarming invitation card for the first time. Was quite confused in the beginning on the elements but the design started becoming clearer as I progressed. I was happy with the output.

Mariokart birthday invite

Designed this card for my son who was addicted to Mariokart and wanted his favourite character Luigi as a cake.

Had to pen down the words myself as I didn't like anything which was readily available on the internet. He was supper happy with the invite as well as with the cake.

Birthday invite for 5 year boy

This was again for my neph Aryan whose latest fascination was Mickey Mouse and driving a car himself. Yes driving at the age of 5!! :)

I do not know a single kid who has not been fascinated with Mickey Mouse ever.

A birthday card for 4 year old boy

Made this birthday invite for my dear neph Aryan whose latest craze was Tom and Jerry. Something different that I did in the card was that instead of using only illustrations I added his pic as well.

Ben 10 birthday invite

I designed this birthday invite for my son's 5th birthday as these days he is a big BIG fan of Ben 10.

What I liked about this design was that the number 5 can be replaced with any other number depending on the age of the birthday child. It is not specific for any age.

Design for "My 2 Cents"

RajK asked me if I can help her design a blog header for her after seeing my works at other blogs. I replied to her in affirmation. And then I asked her about what she would want. She replied back saying -

"I'm not very good at design and stuff...but let me tell you a little bit about what I like..

I like travelling, reading, movies, music, photography etc....My dream is to travel all over India...I'd love to have pictures of not-so-famous Indian monuments/places of interest on my blog with some info about it...For starters...

As for colors, I want the background of the text itself light-colored...it's very difficult on the eyes to read white/light letters against a dark background...so....

anything else...just use your imagination and skill....and let me know if you have any questions..."

Based on this email I asked her to send me some of the pics which she would like me to use and after exchange of a couple of mails, the design was all ready.

Must say she was a customer who was quite easy to satisfy. She loved the first design I sent her and accepted that.
